Why are there TWO prices for the room I'm looking at?
Your rent is due on the 1st of each month. However, if you pay rent & utilities before the 1st, you receive a $25 discount. For example, if the price of a room is listed as $300/275, that means the rent is $300 plus utilities if paid on time... and $275 plus utilities if paid before the 1st!

How can I schedule an appointment to see the house?
After submitting an application, you can request an appointment to see the house.

What are the lease terms?
Four options:
1. January - July
2. January - December
3. August - July
4. August - December ($100 fee for short term)

What is included in the rent price and how do utilities work?
Utilities are not included in rent and are billed seperately. Toward the end of each month you will receive an email that details the utilities. The utilities include electric, cable, high speed internet, wireless, trash, septic, and water. After receiving the utility email, you should pay your rent & utilities before the 1st of the month to receive the $25 bonus.

Are there any other payment bonuses I can take advantage of?
Yes! Many people choose to prepay their rent and utilities. If you choose to prepay at least 6 months, you will pay the guaranteed lowest utility rate from the following year. For example, utilites can range anywhere from $55 to $75/month/person. If your rent was $300/275 and you prepaid 6 months, your utility charge would be $55 for all 6 months. Therefore, you would pay $275x6 plus $55x6 for a total of $1980. You would save about $240!

When can I move in?
You can move in after two things are fulfilled. First, you need to submit your application, have your application approved, fax your lease agreement, and submit your first and final months' rent and utility payment. Secondly, you can only move in when your lease term actually begins (unless specific permission is given otherwise).
