Standards
TRASH: The tenants are responsible to get rid of any and all trash on the premises. Two trash cans are provided for waste removal. Trash pick-up is every Monday. The trash cans may NOT be left on the road, but must be taken back to their proper storage place by Tuesday.
VIOLENCE: Any individual who acts violently against another tenant or guest with harmful physical contact will be immediately evicted. Examples of such conduct include but are not limited to hitting with the hand(s) or other foreign objects, kicking, or shoving with malicious intent. Guilty parties will include those who initiate and those who retaliate with any such conduct. The only exception is the case of genuine self defense.
CLEANLINESS: Bathrooms and kitchen should be regularly cleaned. (this includes sinks, showers, floors, trash, and toilets) Personal belongings should not be left in the bathroom or laundry room as it creates an unorganized atmosphere for other tenants. If the house is found to be neglected in cleanliness, all tenants will incur a $75 fine (divided among the tenants) in order for cleaning services to be hired.
CURFEW: All people of the opposite gender must be outside of the house by 1:00AM. This is NOT for accountability, but rather to respect the other tenants who would like privacy in the evenings.
Sunday through Thursday evening, tenants and guests must be QUIET after 9:00PM.
TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, DRUGS: No tenant or guest of the tenant may possess or use any type of tobacco product, alcohol, or illegal drug whatsoever inside the house or on the premises outside. Any seen use should be immediately reported to the said Landlord (Nathan Taitt).
PENALTY: If tenant or guest of tenant is reported as violating any of the aforementioned two rules, the penalty for such violation shall be $100, payable with the next rent payment. (Violation includes the possession or use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs in the house or on the premises; or having someone of the opposite sex staying past 1:00AM) The second violation shall result in immediate eviction AND the tenant must pay the entire amount remaining in the duration of the lease. Please remember, the purpose of these houses is to facilitate an atmosphere for spiritual growth. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will indeed result in benefiting you.
